Mexico’s Ministry of Economy has announced a series of temporary tariff modifications that will impact 392 product categories. These tariff adjustments range from 5% to 25% ad valorem to products originating from countries that are not party to Mexico's free trade or tariff preferential agreements.

The UK have amended sanctions against Russia which will come into effect from October 1. In the latest update, the British government have banned the import of iron and steel products that contain Russian origin steel or iron.

Pursuant to the General Notice (88 FR 48900) published July 28, 2023, adjustments to certain customs user fees and corresponding limitations will take effect on October 1, 2023. These Quota Bulletins are updated to account for Presidential Proclamation 10522 of February 24, 2023 “Adjusting Imports of Aluminum Into the United States” which establishes 200% ad valorum additional duties under HTSUS Chapter 99, subchapter III, US note 19(a) for goods of Russia by inserting the new subdivision
