Products produced in Hong Kong must be marked with the origin “China” unless exempt

Due to the President’s Executive Order on Hong Kong’s Normalization issued on July 14 2020,  U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a guidance stating that products produced in Hong Kong must be marked with the origin “China” unless exempted from marking. 

This guidance applies to goods that are entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption into the United States after September 25, 2020.
