Heathrow Flights are back on track

On an announcement on their website, London Heathrow have confirmed that they are now fully operational after the closure of the airport due to a power outage yesterday.

Please be advised that there has been a disruption at London Heathrow Airport this morning due to a fire at a local substation in Hayes

The situation is currently impacting all inbound and outbound flights and cargo operations. Delays to shipments arriving or departing from Heathrow airport are to be expected.  

A recent update from IAG Cargo states "Due to a power outage in the London Heathrow area, our operations are temporarily disrupted. We are currently unable to accept new bookings or any freight at London Heathrow. We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as soon as possible."

London Heathrow have confirmed that the airport will be closed until 23:59 on 21st March in their latest update
