Chris Monica is an accomplished supply chain senior executive with over 35 years of experience. 

Chris has excelled in operational and direct client-facing roles for companies ranging from start-ups to multi-billion-dollar global enterprises. His professional career began as a commission salesperson for a recruiting firm in Los Angeles before embarking on a career in transportation and logistics. He got his start in transportation with Roadway Express, working through their management training program, and accelerated through the ranks, becoming their youngest Regional Director of Sales in company history.  

Chris transitioned into the non-asset world of freight forwarding with Eagle USA Airfreight which ultimately became Eagle Global Logistics (EGL), and was on the senior leadership team that engineered explosive organic global growth from annual revenues of $1.6 billion in 2002 to $3.4 billion in 2006. He stayed with CEVA for three years after acquiring EGL before moving to Magno International, a certified Minority Business Enterprise, as President and CEO in 2010. In 2018, Chris assumed responsibility for Crane Worldwide Logistics’ west region while maintaining an active role on the Magno board. During his 3.5-year tenure as Regional Vice President, the region doubled in size and improved operating income by 238%. In January of 2022, Chris became Chief Commercial Officer for CWW and enthusiastically maintained his role as Vice Chairman for Magno International. When asked about the necessary elements of success, Chris first points to employees as the singular differentiator for any service business and takes great pride in attracting and retaining top talent.  

Chris and his family have lived throughout the U.S. and Canada in his various roles, and he currently resides in Southern California with his wife, Laura. He graduated from the University of San Diego with his business degree and is an avid bird watcher in his spare time.
