UK GSP: The United Kingdom (UK) published guidance regarding trade with developing nations.
At the end of the Brexit transition period, starting January 1, 2021, eligible developing countries will be able to receive preferential treatment through the UK Generalized Scheme of Preferences (GSP). The UK GSP will initially provide trade preferences to the same countries as the EU GSP.
The UK GSP will have 3 frameworks:
- Least Developed Countries Framework
- General Framework
- Enhanced Framework
The list of countries for each framework can be found in the following notice from the UK’s Department for International Trade here
