In 2008, Jim Crane, a logistics industry veteran, founded Crane Worldwide with a vision to enable global trade for our clients at the highest level of excellence, create a sense of accomplishment for our team members, and elevate the communities we work in.
Jim Crane's legacy in logistics dates back to 1984 when he founded Eagle Global Logistics (EGL), which grew from a small domestic freight forwarder to a top global logistics provider with 10,000 employees and $4 billion in revenue by 2007. Jim and a team of his former EGL executives launched Crane Worldwide with renewed commitment to excellence, customer service, and innovation.
Today we operate on every continent with 150+ locations in 36 countries. As a privately owned company headquartered in Houston, Texas, we invest in strategic areas that allow us to provide greater value to our partners worldwide.
