EPA is issuing significant new rules (SNURs) under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) for certain chemicals which were the subject of premanufacture notices (PMNs). Advance notification is now needed 90 days before commencing manufacture or processing any of these chemical substances for an activity designated as a significant new use by this rule.
This new rule is effective February 5, 2021.
