CMA CGM and GAC report phased palletization requirements for cargo entering Oman: land arrivals from July 15, 2026, and air/sea arrivals from September 15, 2026. CMA CGM also includes cargo entering by land for onward export through Oman.
CMA CGM lists wood, plastic and metal pallets. Both notices identify exemptions including bulk materials, heavy equipment, pipes, coils, stone blocks and marble. CMA CGM additionally describes liquids and similar non-stackable cargo where palletization is not feasible.
Review packaging and confirm any exemption with the carrier and destination customs team before dispatch. The notices warn that non-compliant shipments may be returned to origin.
