On October 14th, new COVID-19 cases were reported in Beilun, the core of Ningbo Zhoushan Port in East China's Zhejiang Province. More strict epidemic control measures will be taken until further notice.
With the government efforts to reduce any epidemic risks, port disruptions are expected, including a few vessels' departures from Ningbo being delayed and delays on cargo trucks due to road closures and operations being suspended in some parts of Ningbo Zhoushan port. At the moment, operations of container gate-in and gate-out and trucking-related to empty or laden from/to Beilun port have been suspended from 14th Oct until further notice. However, the Beilun district government launched measures, including a whitelist and green channels for some major companies for them to continue their business operations in the region.
