CSMS 47138649 – Harbor Maintenance Fee (HMF)
A Harbor Maintenance Fee (HMF) is exempt on an entry summary line (when the mode of transport is 10, 11 or 12) when the article is classified under certain HTS chapter 98 provisions. Chapter 9808 has now been added to that list.
The HTS chapter 98 provisions that exempt HMF are:
- 9804
- 9805
- 9806
- 9807
- 9808
- 9809
