He is focused on creating efficient, flexible, and technology-enabled supply chain solutions that support customers’ evolving business needs.
Sam works closely with customers and operational teams to design and execute logistics strategies that enhance visibility, improve performance, and drive long-term value. His deep understanding of transportation networks and supply chain management enables him to bridge operational execution with strategic business objectives.

Background
Sam brings more than three decades of transportation and logistics leadership experience to Crane Worldwide Logistics. He began his career with Roadway Express, where he spent 12 years in a series of progressively responsible operational and management roles that provided a strong foundation in transportation and customer service.
In 1997, Sam joined Eagle Global Logistics (EGL), where he spent 18 years helping drive growth and operational success across the organization. During his tenure, he held a variety of leadership positions and ultimately served as Executive Vice President of Freight Forwarding for the Americas, overseeing large-scale operations and strategic initiatives across the region. Sam joined Crane Worldwide Logistics in 2015, bringing extensive expertise in freight forwarding, transportation management, and supply chain solutions. Since then, he has played a key role in expanding the company’s integrated logistics capabilities and strengthening its ability to deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions on a global scale.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Weber State University. Through his leadership, industry expertise, and commitment to customer success, Sam continues to help shape the future of integrated logistics at Crane Worldwide.
