A graduate of the University of Central Missouri, Jim began his career in commercial insurance before entering freight forwarding. In 1984, he founded Eagle Global Logistics and grew it from a two-person operation into a global supply chain company before establishing Crane Capital Group in 2006.
Jim returned to logistics in 2008 as a founder of Crane Worldwide Logistics, helping build the company from its first Houston office into a global provider operating across six continents. He also serves as CEO of Crane Capital Group and Chairman of the Houston Astros, with leadership and investment interests spanning multiple industries.
