As CEO of Crane Worldwide Logistics, Jared oversees the execution of the company’s strategic vision while driving operational excellence and customer-focused growth across the organization. His leadership approach combines entrepreneurial thinking with a deep understanding of the logistics industry, developed through years of experience across commercial and operational roles. Jared’s commitment to leadership extends beyond the logistics sector. Since 2019, he has served as an Executive Advisor to the business operations team of the Houston Astros, supporting a broad range of organizational and strategic initiatives.
He also serves as President of the Astros Foundation, the official charitable organization of the Houston Astros, helping advance community impact programs and philanthropic efforts throughout the region. In addition, Jared serves on the boards of DAVACO, Aperture Cellars, and the Emancipation Park Conservancy, contributing his expertise in growth strategy, governance, and organizational development.
Background
Prior to dedicating his full attention to Crane Worldwide Logistics, Jared founded Incite Energy in 2013 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer through 2018. Based in Houston, Incite Energy provided energy brokerage and software solutions to commercial and industrial customers across the United States. Following the successful sale of the company's assets in 2018, Jared transitioned to focus full-time on leading and growing Crane Worldwide Logistics.
Jared earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Lutheran University. Having spent his formative years in both Houston, Texas, and Boulder, Colorado, he considers himself equally shaped by the entrepreneurial spirit of Texas and the outdoor culture of Colorado. Today, Jared resides in Houston with his wife, Adrienne. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with family.
