Background
Gerard has been an integral part of Crane Worldwide Logistics’ growth journey and previously served as Vice President of EMEA. In this role, he played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the company’s presence throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, helping build a strong operational and commercial foundation across the region.
He began his career with an international courier organization, gaining experience across multiple operational and commercial functions. This broad exposure provided a strong understanding of the logistics industry and laid the groundwork for a successful career in global forwarding and transportation.
In the early 2000s, Gerard served as Managing Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland at Eagle Global Logistics, where he was responsible for driving growth and strengthening customer relationships across the region. Throughout his career, he has consistently held senior leadership positions focused on business development, market expansion, and customer success.
Born in Ireland, Gerard continues to reside in Cork and brings both global experience and local market insight to his leadership role. He holds numerous industry and management certifications and remains committed to continuous professional development.
Outside of work, Gerard enjoys long-distance running, golf, and following a variety of sports, particularly rugby and football. His dedication, discipline, and competitive spirit are reflected both in his personal pursuits and in his approach to leadership.
