The purpose of this policy is to outline how personal information is collected, stored and used in relation to the services they offered by Crane Worldwide Logistics (CWW) and CWW-affiliated companies . This policy also covers information collected offline through CWW operational activities, CCTV, direct marketing campaigns, exhibitions, presentations, and online activities via the CWW website, email, applications, branded pages on third party platforms, and applications accessed or used through such websites or third party platforms.
This policy also applies to targeted CWW content, including offers and advertisements for CWW products and services, which CWW (or a service provider acting on our behalf) may send to non-CWW personnel via third party websites, platforms and applications (“Third Party Sites”) based on specific site usage Information (as defined below). These Third Party Sites may have their own privacy policies and terms and conditions which CWW encourages all parties to review before engaging any Third Party Sites.

The Policy Statement and associated company Policies are reviewed annually by Crane Worldwide Logistics Global Trade Compliance Department to ensure:
- The policy complies with applicable regulatory requirements
- The policy can be effectively executed by Crane Worldwide Logistics personnel
- The policy can be audited by Global Trade Compliance Department
By using the CWW site, consent has been granted to CWW to collect, use and disclose any personal information gathered in accordance with this policy. The use of any CWW site should be prohibited if the potential collection, usage, and disclosure of personal information gathered during the visit of the any CWW site is not condoned by the user. CWW will obtain express consent of any user where the use of personal information is relevant to contractual work conducted by CWW. This includes personal information contained within documents, job applications, submitted CV information, transport documents, marketing materials, and the CWW global transport system.
CWW will only collect, use or disclose personal information where it is fair and lawful to do so. In most cases, CWW will ask for consent explicitly. However, CWW reserves the right to infer consent from the actions and behaviour of anyone engaged with CWW. CWW may request additional consent if CWW believes any personal information provided is not defined within this policy. If CWW requests additional consent and that consent is not provided, participation in certain CWW activities may be restricted. If additional consent is provided, the terms of the additional consent will supercede the terms of this policy.
CWW may process personal information without consent if CWW has a legitimate reason to do so, provided that such use will not have a prejudicial effect on any legal rights, freedoms and interests. Any such use shall be in accordance with this policy.
CWW services are directed at adults and therefore by the nature of the business are rarely in contact with any person considered a legal minor. CWW will obtain consent from a parent or guardian before the collection of any minor’s personal information. If CWW has collected personal information from a minor without the consent of a parent or guardian where such consent should have been obtained, CWW will delete that personal information as soon as possible. Any minor whose personal information is collected, used, or disclosed by CWW should review the terms of this policy should be reviewed with that minor’s parent or guardian.

- How CWW Uses Personal Information
CWW may use personal information to:

- contacting potential clients regarding products and services which may be of interest, provided consent has been given to CWW or the potential client requested a product or service from CWW. - Mobile Messaging Services
CWW may make available a service through which text or other types of messages such as SMS (short message service), MMS (multimedia message service) or EMS (enhanced message service) can be received on a wireless or mobile device (“Mobile Message Service”). Upon subscription to a CWW Mobile Message Services, the user agrees to receive such messages from CWW at the address or mobile number provided for that purpose. It should be noted that wireless carrier standard rates apply to these messages. This does not apply if the user has elected to opt out of receiving such messages by following the instructions in section 4.9.
Any person reading this policy represents that he or she is the owner or authorized user of the wireless device used to sign up for the Mobile Message Service and that her or she is authorized to approve the applicable charges. In addition to meeting certain age restrictions and any other terms and conditions associated with each Mobile Message Service, users may be required to register personal information such as your name, text message, wireless address or mobile phone number. CWW may also obtain the date, time and content of messages in the course of the use of the Mobile Message Service. CWW will use the information obtained in connection with the Mobile Message Service in accordance with this policy. Please note that wireless carrier and other service providers may also collect data about wireless device usage and their practices are governed by their own policies.
By reading this policy, it is acknowledged and agreed that the Mobile Message Service is provided via wireless systems which use radios (and other means) to transmit communications over complex networks. CWW does not guarantee that the use of the Mobile Message Service will be private or secure and CWW is not liable for any lack of privacy or security experienced. Users are fully responsible for taking precautions and providing security measures best suited to their situation and intended use of the Mobile Message Service. CWW may also access the content of wireless and/or mobile phone account with carriers for the purpose of identifying and resolving technical problems and/or service-related complaints.
- Whom Does CWW Share Personal Information With
CWW is a global full-service air, ocean, customs brokerage and logistics company. As a global business entity, CWW may share personal information among other CWW offices and trusted third parties based outside the country in accordance with CWW business conducted so that they may process that data on our behalf. CWW may also share personal information with companies, organisations or individuals outside of CWW if it is determined the disclosure of the information is necessary for legal reasons.
- Transferring Personal Information
CWW may transfer personal information to servers located outside the country where the personal information originates from to affiliates or other trusted third parties so that they may process personal information on behalf of CWW.
