Account Management
Crane Worldwide’s account management team has developed standardized processes and procedures and then uses those tools to customize a solution to our customer’s needs. With dedicated resources throughout its global network, Crane’s approach focuses on development, solution design, implementation strategy, execution, and continuous improvement.
Crane’s account management team works with each customer during the development and design phase to understand the customer’s supply chain and find efficiencies that can be realized. This includes learning about each customer’s operational and financial supply chain. Then, the account management team utilizes the operational tools, Crane’s proprietary IT infrastructure, and product knowledge to design a customer centric solution that will meet and exceed all requirements and expectations.
The implementation strategy begins with a “control tower” specifically focused on each customer. The control tower includes a dedicated hierarchy with defined escalation paths. The Crane Worldwide account management team assures the implementation is clearly mapped out and understood by all participants to ensure a seamless transition. This is done by creating a detailed scope of work for each customer and requiring that all responsibilities are properly communicated throughout the global network. Finally, Crane’s account management team will work with each customer to create key performance indicators to evaluate the success of a program.
Integral to Crane’s philosophy for account management is our commitment for continuous improvement and quality management to our customer’s supply chain. Our global IT platform offers transparency and visibility tools so that a shipment from start to finish. Daily internal review of the key performance indicators allows Crane to monitor progress and react quickly to correct inefficiencies. Finally, Crane will hold periodic business reviews with each customer to review milestones, exceptions, and account management plans.
By utilizing this strategic approach to account management, Crane Worldwide is able to add flexibility, scalability, and predictability to all customers’ supply chains.
